Geist is a market leader in the design and manufacture of power distribution units (PDUs), cooling solutions and infrastructure management tools for data centres and critical IT environments. Now operating under the Vertiv Geist brand, the business provides a comprehensive range of power, cooling, monitoring and management solutions used by data centre operators worldwide.

Geist’s core offerings include rack power distribution units, environmental monitoring sensors and data centre infrastructure management software, helping organisations improve reliability, visibility and efficiency across their IT infrastructure.

We collaborated with Trek Bikes to produce a series of product renders for their new Fuel electric bike. The incredibly small and lightweight motor system manufactured by German specialists TQ sits at the heart of this incredible mountain bike.

BRAND IDENTITY DESIGN

The challenge

Zavial was initially approached to develop a clearer sub-branding system for Geist’s individual products and services. As the business expanded and its marketing activity increased, this requirement evolved into a broader need for ongoing design and marketing support across multiple channels.

Geist required a partner that could work at pace, maintain consistency across a growing product portfolio, and support both strategic brand thinking and day-to-day marketing execution.

Our approach

Zavial worked as an extension of Geist’s internal marketing team, supporting the business both strategically and practically. We developed a flexible brand framework that allowed individual products and services to be clearly differentiated, while remaining consistent with the wider Geist brand.

By building a deep understanding of Geist’s products, markets and internal processes, we were able to provide reliable, responsive support as the company scaled, ensuring quality and consistency across all outputs.

Delivery

Over the course of a long-term partnership, Zavial delivered a wide range of marketing and design work, including advertising, brochure design and print, exhibition stand design, CGI product renders and launch animations. We also designed Geist’s website, digital platforms and user interface elements for its software products.

As Geist grew, we scaled our support to meet increased demand, consistently delivering work on time while maintaining a coherent brand presence across print, digital and experiential touchpoints.
